Rooted and Becoming

Workbook journal

A Journal for the Journey

We are all becoming. Take a few quiet minutes, notice what is shaping you, and write it down.

Workbook journal

A quiet place to write what is taking root.

Use the guided prompts to pause, notice what is shaping you, and name how you are becoming.

Welcome

This journal is an invitation to pause with God, notice what has shaped you, and make room for honest reflection. Use it slowly. Skip around. Return to what keeps speaking.

For me, reflection is often where Sunday sermons, leadership, spirituality, and lived experience begin to come together. I am learning to ask what God is forming in me, what He is asking me to notice, and how my leadership can stay rooted in faith instead of urgency.

A note from Lindy Pfingsten

I created this as a companion for the Rooted & Becoming reflections: a place to move from reading into prayer, from noticing into naming, and from naming into one faithful next step.

Becoming is not instant. It unfolds as we listen, learn, lead, surrender, and trust that everything is held in God's time, even when we are still finding our own pace.

How to use this journal

  1. Spend about 10 to 15 minutes a day, or go at your own pace.
  2. Flip each week to read what the question is inviting you to reflect on.
  3. Use the practice pages when you want space to write, pray, or name one faithful next step.
